Morocco is as beautiful as it is mysterious. When people think of it, they think of camels and the desert, multi-coloured tiles and perhaps even the backdrop to every movie taking place in the Middle East. But Morocco is so much more than that. It is filled with excitement, and oozes culture. It was my first African, and first Arabic, country to visit, and it was everything that I imagined it would be. The buildings are almost too stunning to believe are real, but are. It is Moroccan custom to be humble, and not to expose one’s wealth. The houses, much like the country itself, are all hidden gems, bare on the outside, and an extravagant masterpieces once you step inside. They are enchanting, and exotic, and absolutely intoxicating.
